Kraft, RDS, and TSN are going on the road to visit 10 great Canadian communities in 10 days.
From all the submitted nominations, our panel of judges will choose 20 finalist communities. Then it’s up to the rest of Canada to decide the 10 winners via an intense 10 days of head-to-head on-line voting!
Each of the 10 winning communities will receive a grand prize consisting of $25,000 from Kraft to be used for refreshes to the facility that the prize winning community endorses.
We’ll also bring along TSN SportsCentre to help celebrate your win with a live broadcast from your community on a date specified by Sponsors. RDS Sports 30 will also broadcast from winning Francophone communities.
A group of people exemplifying spirit in a geographic area, be it a small town in Saskatchewan or a neighbourhood in Montreal. The community is selected by the Entrant.
Entrants were asked to submit one (1) essay of 500 words or less describing how a $25,000 community refresh would make a difference in their community.
Entrants were also required to submit a minimum of one (1) photo with an option of up to three (3) photos depicting their community’s spirit, and passion for sports and a healthy and active lifestyle.
Each weekday from July 13 – 17 and July 20 - 24 (10 days total), two communities will endure an intense 24-hour, head-to-head voting match. One community will rise to the top each day for a total of 10 winning communities. Canada will decide the 10 winning communities so YOUR VOTE COUNTS! Voting is unlimited so cast as many votes as you wish. Help make this summer’s Kraft Celebration Tour an unforgettable event.
