Way to go Macleod!! Huge thanks go out to Angie for organizing this and to everyone who voted for Fort Macleod. I know both communities really need the funding. But for Fort Macleod who has seen empty promises from our government, this is a huge positive boost for our community. Congrats to all who voted to help make this happen.

Way to go Fort Macleod we are a small community but have a lot of heart and determination we were the underdogs from the start with the population difference but having the community all pull together was awesome , good luck also to Wetaskiwin I hope you will be able to get your well deserved reapairs done also

Thanks for the congrats Darren. I'm sure you guys badly needed the funds too but unfortunately we couldn't both win. Good luck securing funds for your upgrades in the future, we know how hard it is in a small town.

I want to thank Kraft and TSN for the opportunity for our communities to be involved. Well done to Angie and thanks to everyone who voted, it shows once again our great community spirit. There really werent any losers, the coverage TSN gave Wetaskawin and Fort Macleod was awesome and the rest of Canada now knows a little more about our 2 great communities. Best wishes to Wetaskawin football in getting that barn renovated, hopefully the publicity generated by the contest will help garner the assistance they need to get that project done, all the best. Congrats fo FM, hope you can keep the gophers away after you fix your field. In the beginning of the Wetaskiwin football program, whoever was on the field first took the wheelbarrow of dirt and filled the gopher holes. They always came back. Nasty little critters. Good luck.
